Finally, a new restaurant opens in Wesley chapel on Wesley chapel blvd. First time there since it took over this new location. Their menu is very exciting, full of really good Irish food and hard to make a choice for a first time. I dove into the Ruben (they offer a double meat for an extra $4.00) with tater tots and the wife had the Cuban with Cole slaw. For drinks, I had the Guinness (of course) and the wife had a white sangria (not on the menu but Shannon made one special). Without getting into specifics, the food was really good. What surprised me was that the Cuban was authentic with true roasted pork and pressed. My Ruben was fresh and really good, served on marble rye. Will we be going back, you bet! So many good things and so little time. They also offer a brunch on the weekend that we are anxious to try. Our waitress, Shannon, was a real sweetheart. A true Irish lady.
Got the fish and chips, bacon Mac and cheese, and the Reuben with tater tots. The fries and tots were crispy and perfect. The fried fish and Reuben were delicious. The bacon Mac and cheese was good, maybe a bit bland. Overall a really good dinner. The service was great. As for atmosphere, it’s a sports bar. Lots of screens. A great time.
Stopped in for lunch at the Wesley Chapel location. The food was excellent and service was even BETTER! loved all the recs the bartender suggested. Will be back soon!! They have great specials every day. Tried the cheeseburger, a Greek flatbread, and the chicken dinner entree dish was SO good! Also the bar is so much more spacious. Vibes were high and food was delicious. Can’t wait to try the mozz logs!
My son and I checked out the new 1916 Irish pub in Wesley Chapel. Here's what we ate: We got the fish and chips. The fish was a huge piece of wild-caught North Atlantic Haddock, and while the batter was good, it wasn't the authentic Brit/Irish kind we were hoping for. We really liked the Parmesan pesto chips and the creamy coleslaw. My son also got the Cajun popcorn shrimp, and he said they were really good. Our server, Nicole, was super friendly and took great care of us. We didn't ask about the "market price" for the fish and ended up with a bit of "check shock" when we paid, so just a heads up on that. As Floridians, we're used to paying more for seasonal fish like Grouper, but haddock, not so much. Overall, we still enjoyed the meal.
I got a Cuban sandwich and my aunt got the shepherds pie. Food was fantastic. Our poor waitress was the only one out there and when they were busy the gentleman at the bar and the one with the running food for her and helping her but nobody else it’s not fair to her
